Complete the speaker application at www.surveymonkey.com/r/9GPKT62. In order to provide the most robust lineup possible, we are offering all qualified speakers a chance to participate in our edu- cational lineup. Presentations should target powersports dealership professionals (dealer principals and general managers, as well as department managers and employees in new and pre-owned sales, service, parts, acces- sories, F&I, e-commerce, social media and operations). The deadline to submit a proposal is March 15. Presentations should range from funda- mental to advanced in nature, with the ability to reach a wide spectrum of dealership per- sonnel. Because of your presentation, dealers will leave the sessions with profit-accelerating ideas for success. Contact Powersports Business editor in chief Dave McMahon at dmcmahon@powersportsbusiness.com or 763/383-4411 with questions about present- ing, or topics that you as an attendee would like to see presented. ROBISON RETAIL RESULTS LAUNCHES After 15 years with Tucker Rocky and Bik- ers Choice, Jen- nifer Robison announced that she has left the company and has launched her own dealer- ship consult- ing and coaching business, Robison Retail Results, Inc. Robison has been a presenter at several industry events over the years, including Profit Xcelerator, Powersports Business Institute @ AIMExpo and the Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo. She has also worked with many 20 groups on the topics of showroom presentations and PG&A business. Robison created the "Brand in a Box," a visual marketing tool for dealers to create a custom look and feel for showcased brands. She plans to offer dealers a line of displays and fixtures for those ready to create updated showrooms that look cleaner, function better and create sales. "The idea is to make it simple and easy for dealers to make investments in the PG&A department and the tools used in those areas," she said. "The PG&A depart- ment has growth ability — believe it! It always comes down to a simple factor: How relevant is your store to shoppers and your regular customers today? Truly consider, when is the last time you have invested in the store's physical state?" BURGLARIES REPORTED AT MULTIPLE DEALERSHIPS A pair of dealerships were burglarized over a few weeks in December, and a third was dam- aged during an attempted burglary. Yamaha of Las Vegas was burglarized on Monday, Dec. 19. Eight people were seen on video surveillance breaking into the dealership by smashing through a window with rocks before stealing eight motorcycles, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. In Lexington, Kentucky, Man O'War Harley-Davidson was broken into after a man pried open the front door. After he set off the security alarm, he stole only a T-shirt but dropped it in the dealership's parking lot while running away. Tampa Bay PowerSports in Florida was damaged after an SUV rammed into the front of the dealership Friday in a burglary attempt. The manager didn't think anything was sto- len, as the would-be thieves ran off after an employee working at a business nearby walked over to see what was going on. Thousands of dollars of damaged was reported. SUZUKI ENHANCES MARKETING TEAM Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (SMAI) has promoted Brittany Sharp to Marketing & Communications lead for the Motorcycle/ATV division. Since joining Suzuki in 2014 as digital mar- keting specialist, Sharp has been instrumental in developing the brand's social media com- munities and digital marketing visibility. In her new role, she will take on expanded responsi- bilities with all forms of media and communi- cation outreach. Starting at Suzuki in September 2014, Sharp's first work days took place during the company's dealer meeting and corresponding new model introductions. As a motorcycle enthusiast — Sharp actively rides both on-road and off — she immediately used her product knowledge and digital marketing skills to Suzuki's advantage. "Brittany possesses that special blend of honest enthusiasm and marketing intellect," said Kerry Graeber, vice president of Sales and Marketing for SMAI. "As we continue to build Suzuki's brand in a rapidly changing marketplace and marketing landscape, she will be an important member of our market- ing team. This new role will let Brittany best use her skills." "I'm excited about this new opportunity," Sharp said. "It is a great time to be at Suzuki and I am thankful to be an integral part of SMAI's marketing team."
