It pays homage to Lady Juana, the Span- ish-born spouse of Sir Harry Smith, one-time governor general of the Cape Province. La- dismith Cape Brandy has nutty aromas, notes of jasmine, nuts and vanilla on the palate, the company says, followed by a lingering aftertaste and fragrant cinnamon and sun-dried apple. URL: www.blackhawkimports.com. 2 19 CRIMES THE BANISHED DARK RED, THE WARDEN Australian winery 19 Crimes has added two new wines to its lineup: The Banished Dark Red (SRP: $11.99 per 750-ml. bottle) and The Warden (SRP: $24.99 per 750-ml. bottle). Both are odes to the story of British criminals who turned colonists and forged a new life in Australia, the company says. The Banished is a Shiraz blend with notes of dark chocolate and vanilla aromatics, the company says, with dark forest fruits and notes of cloves and cinnamon spice. The Warden is a Shiraz blend withnotes of dark cherry, black- berry, boysenberry, chocolate, mocha and vanilla bean. URL: www.19crimes.com. 3 SMIRNOFF SPIKED SPARKLING SELTZER Smirnoff has launched a spiked sparking seltzer line. Three initial fl avors are orange mango, cranberry lime and watermelon. Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer is 90 calories and 4.5% ABV. No artifi cial sweeteners are used, and the product is infused with natural sweeteners and crafted to remove gluten, the company says. Seltzers come in 12-oz. slimline cans, 6-packs or 12-pack mixes. The cans feature a large "must be 21+ to purchase" callout to indicate that these are for LDA consumers only. URL: www.smirnoff.com. 4 WOODFORD RESERVE MASTER'S COLLECTION BRANDY CASK FINISH Woodford Reserve has announced the latest expression in the limited edition Master's Collection: Brandy Cask Finish. Marking the 11th release in the Master's Collection, Mas- ter Distiller Chris Morris began with fully mature Woodford Reserve Bourbon, which was then fi nished in Brandy casks for nearly two years. Upon completion of the maturation period, the fi nished casks were batched together to create this whiskey with caramel and dried fruit notes, the company reports. This release is technically not a Bourbon, but a fi nished whiskey, and is 90.4 proof. SRP: $99 per 750-ml. bottle. URL: www.woodfordreserve.com. 5 JAMESON BLACK BARREL NEW BOTTLE Jameson Black Barrel has unveiled its newly redesigned bottle. Matured in a combination of American oak, sherry casks and double charred bourbon barrels, Jameson Black Barrel is a blend of 'small batch' grain and traditional Irish pot still whiskeys. The double charring delivers an "embellished fi nish," the company says. The brand has a new look for its bottle, but the same taste. 40% ABV. SRP: $36.99 per 750-ml. bottle. URL: www.jamesonwhiskey.com. 6 LES DAUPHINS CÔTES DU RHÔNE VILLAGE WINES Rhône Valley wine brand Les Dauphins has announced two new wines. These prestige Côtes du Rhône Villages offerings are the Organic Côtes du Rhône Villages Rouge 2015 (SRP: $14.99 per 750-ml. bottle) and a Côtes du Rhône Villages Puyméras Rouge 2014 (SRP: $17.99). With growing interest in village and cru-level classifi ed wines from re- gions such as Beaujolais, Les Dauphins believes that the timing is perfect for showcasing the Côtes du Rhône Villages appellation. Les Dauphins Organic Côtes du Rhône Village Rouge 2015 is Grenache (60%), Syrah (30%), Mouvèdre (5%) and Carignan (5%).
