Lemon juice Top with soda Combine ingredients except soda. Shake with ice, strain into highball and top with soda. Garnish with a lemon peel. Derek Brown of Columbia Room in Washington, D.C., created this recipe. The OTT (Over the Top) Ir ish Coffee 1 ½ oz. Knappogue Castle single malt Irish whiskey ¼ oz. Rich (2:1) Demerara syrup 5 oz. Hot coffee 5 drops Saline solution (or a tiny pinch kosher salt) 2 dashes Regan's No. 6 Orange bitters Cream topping Muddle the cardamom pods in the bottom of a preheated Irish coffee glass. Add whiskey, Demerara syrup, coffee and saline solution and stir. Whip the cream with the orange zest, white sugar and Regan's No. 6 Orange bitters until thickened, but still pourable. Float cream over the top of the drink by pouring gently over the back of a spoon. Garnish with a lightly toasted Knappogue Castle Irish whiskey marshmallow from Little Boo Boo Bakery. New York mixologist Joaquín Simó created this recipe. Cucumber 75 1 ½ parts Hendrick's gin ½ part Fresh lemon juice ½ part Simple syrup 3 English cucumber wheels Dry sparkling wine In a mixing glass, muddle cucumbers and simple syrup. Add Hendrick's Gin, lemon juice and ice. Shake well and fi ne strain into a fl ute. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with a cucumber ribbon or wheel. The mixologists at Hendrick's created this recipe. Melon Mint Cooler 2 parts Midori melon liqueur ½ part De Kuyper Crème de Banana liqueur 1 part Cucumber juice 1 part Lemon juice 8 Mint leaves Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a tall glass fi lled with crushed ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of cucumber. Miami mixologist Ben Potts created this recipe. Feisty Clover 1 ½ oz. Svedka cucumber lime vodka ½ oz. Midori melon liqueur ¾ oz. Lemon juice ½ oz. Agave 2 slices Cucumber 2 slices Fresno chili Crack cucumbers and chilies on tin and drop in. Add all ingredients and ice. Shake, and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with long fresno chili pepper; can also do a half cayenne pepper/ sea salt rim. The mixologists at Rock & Reilly's in Los Angeles created this recipe. Celtic Makeover 1 ½ oz. Ketel One vodka ½ oz. St. Germain elderfl ower liqueur ½ oz. Lime juice ½ oz. Simple syrup 4-6 cubes Watermelon 3 Basil leaves Muddle watermelon and basil in tin. Add all ingredients in tin with ice. Shake, and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a watermelon slice or watermelon ball and basil leaf. The mixologists at Rock & Reilly's in Los Angeles created this recipe. Super Sips for St. Patrick's Day Black Gold 2 oz. Crater Lake hazelnut espresso vodka 1 oz. Amaretto 1 oz. Irish cream liqueur Splash triple sec 6 oz. Hot coffee Combine all ingredients in a coffee mug or nudge glass. Top with whipped cream and a coffee bean. The mixologists at Crater Lake created this recipe. High King Highball ½ oz. Aperol ½ oz. Simple syrup Dash Peychaud's bitters ¾ oz. Lemon juice ¾ oz. Grapefruit juice 2 oz. Clontarf Irish whiskey 1 ½ oz. Soda Muddle 3 raspberries in the Aperol, simple syrup and bitters, then add all remaining ingredients except soda. Shake with cubed ice and strain over a shard of ice and the soda into a Collins glass. Garnish with a skewered lemon wheel and a raspberry. Joaquín Simó created this cocktail for Pouring Ribbons in New York; it's named for the Irish High King Brian Boru, who routed the Vikings in the Battle of Clontarf in 1084. CALL FOR RECIPES!
