Cable Sheath Cutter
Ratcheting design safely strips outer polyethylene sheathing
longitudinally from most cables with outside diameters of 0.5" to 4"
or greater. Also use the sheath cutter to strip inner duct from fiber
optic cables. This rugged, compact, maintenance-free tool includes
a double-sided replacement blade, molded plastic shim, 3-mm Allen
key and instructions in a molded plastic case.

Use this cable sheath stripper for stripping and
butting tight buffer optical fiber cables. One blade
butts the PVC sheathing and the second strips it.
Stripper is adjustable for 0.018" or 0.031" thick plas-
tic, rubber or fabric insulation. Blade is reversible and
the ring at the end of the tool fits around the cable to
remove the jacket.

The MSAT-5 allows easy mid-span access to opti-
cal fibers in loose buffer tubes from 1.9 mm to 3.0
mm. The tool has sizing channels to determine the
tube size and shaves the precise opening to prevent
