Coax Cable Tester
Coax Clarifier will test, map, profile and qualify dark coax cable networks. Use
it to map out the entire system, locate faults on individual cable runs, to identify
remotes through splitters and to determine cable run length up to 1500 feet.
Available in five packages. CC200 includes the Coax Clarifier, two coax
RF-remotes, #1-4 IDs, 12" cable assembly with screw-on F-jack to push-on
F-plug, F-jack to BNC-jack adapter, three F-jack to push-on plug adapters, three
F-connector couplers, four F-terminator plugs and pouch. CC210 adds two coax
RF remotes, two F-jack to BNC-jack adapters and two F-jack to push-on plug
adapters. CC220 adds #5-12 IDs and CC250 adds a tone probe and upgraded

Pro 2 Tester
Test voice, data and
video connections and
locate cable runs using
location ID remotes with the VDV Scout Pro 2 testers.
They feature an integrated tone generator that supports
multiple tones and control of pins carrying tone. Both units
test for continuity and the LT version adds cable length
measurement in feet or meters.
In addition to a 2.4" display and coax barrel F adapter,
the VDV501-823 comes with five RJ45 and five F-connec-
tor remotes. The VDV501-825 has 19 of each remote type
and adds a single-step Test-n-Map
™
remote and case.

Kit
This two-piece tester displays results on
both the main and remote ends. It provides
quick one-button, simple testing on UTP
and STP cable and fault an alysis on coax
and data cables. It traces wires with tone
and remote lights, plus detects opens,
shorts, cross ed wires and split pairs. Use it to
test data and telephone cables for proper pair-
ing and common coax cables for continuity up to
320'. Locate cables with the oscillating tone generator
and tone probe.
The PA901066 kit includes main unit, remote, two RJ45 patch cords, two
BNC coax cables, two CATV "F"/BNC adapters, one BNC/BNC adapter and one
shielded RJ45 coupler in a hard case with foam.

VDV II Series Cable Testers
These next generation VDV II series cable testers give faster results and have a
larger icon based LCD screen, upgraded user interface buttons and more remote
options. Testers verify wiring and termination integrity for coax, test voice with
3-pair USOC and 6-positon RJ11/12, and test data in shielded and unshielded
RJ45 to T568A/B. They have simple pass/miswire indicators, wire map and
troubleshooting modes, four different tones plus a detachable remote stored in
the base. R158000 is the basic VDV II tester.
The R158002 VDV II PLUS adds a larger LCD screen, hub blink and measures
length with capacitance. The R158003 VDV II PRO adds TDR length and distance
to fault plus compatibility with active ports for POE, Ethernet and phone service
detection. Plus and Pro models include a carrying case with test adapters.
