Featured PRODUCTS Solinst Provides Groundwater Monitoring Well Solution Solinst Drive-Point Piezometers are excellent permanent or temporary wells used to monitor shallow ground- water and soil vapor. These stainless steel well points are ideal for initial site investigations or for long- or short- term applications. NPT carbon steel extensions are used and sample integrity is main- tained. The pie- zometer tip and screen are stainless steel; a barbed or compression fitting allows a sample tube to be attached to obtain high-qual- ity samples. Without a tubing barb, it is ideal for water level measurements. All equipment combined creates a com- plete monitoring system that is highly portable. www.solinst.com Rockmore's Vector Rod System Advances Drilling Rockmore International Inc. is unveiling its new Vector Rod System to the North American construc- tion and aggregate indus- tries at the ConExpo 2017 exhibition, March 7-11 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Designed to improve perfor- mance and service life of extension drill tools in surface and underground percussive drilling applications, a new thread design, XT, has been developed. The new XT design incorporates new guided cylindrical contact zones between the male and female thread joints. These guided surface features are located in the nose and rear of the thread connections and serve various benefits and improvements over tradi- tional threads. The XT thread profile is based on the traditional trapezoidal "T" thread design and is therefore compati- ble with industry standard thread types such as T38, T45, and T51. www.rockmore-intl.com Stenner Pump Announces Advanced Peristaltic Pump Design Built to NEMA 4X for demanding applications, the S Series peristaltic pump from Stenner Pump Co. interfaces with process control systems through multiple programmable inputs and outputs. The S Series offers several modes of operation and performance indicators. Operational modes include scalable, invertible 4-20mA or 0-10VDC inputs and more. Three programmable output relays can respond to a tube leak or transfer operation to a backup pump. The tube life is programmable to show a tube change indicator on the operat- ing display. Tube replacement is without tools with the patent pending QuickPro pump head. Listings include NEMA 4X, NSF 61 and 372, cULus indoor/ outdoor, CE IP65. www.stenner.com Twitter @WaterWellJournl WWJ March 2017 65 Operated by NGWA, the NGWA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public foundation focused on conducting educational, research, and other charitable activities related to a broader public understanding of groundwater.
