AGGREGATES MANAGER / July 2017 9 High-output secondary cone crusher Sandvik says its CS550 is a high-reduction cone crusher designed for secondary crushing applications with throughputs of 700 to 750 tons per hour. The unit is said to achieve up to 25 percent higher reduction ratios compared to similar types of crushers. This not only creates a more ef- ficient secondary process, but relieves tertiary crushing loads, allowing a greater focus on quality. Recirculated loads are said to decrease by up to 50 percent, allowing for extended life of wear parts. The automatic set- ting regulation system, which is standard, optimizes crusher operation for efficiency and adapts to variations in feed conditions through continuous liner wear measurement and compensation. Sandvik | www.sandvik.com Service monitors crushers and screeners Metso Metric Services, part of the company's Life Cycle Services offer- ings, combines analytics and cloud-based technologies to ease mobile crushing and screening equipment operations and maintenance. The system uses a remote communication device mounted on mobile equipment to provide a dashboard view of critical operational and maintenance data, such as utilization rates, production levels, and fuel consumption. Through its secured access, the service is said to help operators identify underperforming assets and training opportunities, as well as control maintenance and inventory costs. An equipment maintenance plan is also integrated into the system to help operators stay on top of their equipment needs. Metso Corp. | www.metso.com Customizable modular sand plants McLanahan says its modular sand plants include a separator/cyclone, sump, pump, and dewatering screen, with the option of a separator or a cyclone to provide extra flexibility. The totally customizable plants feature ease of set-up due to their modular design and can process everything from coarse sand products to ultra fines, creating a dry, drip-free product. The modular sand plants can handle up to 5,000 gallons per minute and up to 400 tons per hour of sand product. McLanahan Corp. | www.mclanahan.com Mobile crusher is built for quarry applications Kleemann says its Mobicone MCO 11i PRO mobile cone crusher is designed for demand- ing quarry applications. The high-performance cone is powered by a diesel-electric drive and achieves an output of up to 518 tons per hour. The plant can also be equipped with an external power supply. By installing the hydraulics in the lower part of the plant, the unit achieves a lower center of gravity, which improves stability while reducing noise and vibration. All plant components can be accessed from ground level or work platforms. Kleemann's new control concept, Spective, is available on this crusher. Kleemann | www.wirtgen-group.com
