National Catholic Forester 6 WELCOME get Ready to Welcome National Catholic Society of Foresters New Website! Tell us about yourself. My family is #1. I have five siblings. When I'm with my family – it means everything to me. Including Benny! Benny just turned five, and is a Cavachon dog. Little Benny is the 'man' of the house after losing [my husband] Jim. how many years with NCSF? 21 and a half years! how did you hear of NCSF? I heard about NCSF from my husband Jim, who was in the paper industry. NCSF used to be one of his accounts. When he heard they were moving to Mount Prospect, he thought it would be a good fit; especially since we lived in the neighboring town. What was your first job? In my first job, I handled the reception area at a dance school. I was 15 years old. FUN FACT: Rosemary had taken dance classes since she was 8! how did you manage all of the tasks that you had daily, weekly, monthly, etc. Prayers help! But all joking aside, the trick is to pay attention to priority. Plus my favorite word, "flexible." You just have to be flexible. Favorite NCSF memory? Oh, wow, there are too many to single out! Definitely when I won the football toss at our Employee Appreciation Day [beating out the guys!]. What has your career taught you? I have learned that professionalism is needed in all careers [from corporate to fraternalism]. What is your definition of "happiness?" Good health for me and everyone I love, that brings me happiness. Where do you want to be in 5 years? In five years I see myself happy and healthy. Enjoying life! I guess it is that simple. Plus a return trip to Italy! We wish you a blessed and happy retirement Rosemary! A happy Retirement to Rosemary holland Administrative Assistant to the President and COO Over the past year, we have made great strides into the world of technology. We implemented a membership management system as well as an agent relationship management system. Now another important project is nearing completion – our new website! We will place blogs, podcasts, videos, and the social media threads of Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter under this new canvas. This will help promote awareness of all our products and services that are available to our members and agents. The new website will also reinforce that we are a relationship-based society with core values that emphasize excellence, integrity, and responsibility. Also, it will emphasize that our financial strength empowers us to help our members across the nation to do good works. As we look to the future and continue to grow, innovate, and forge a path forward, our aim is to become our members' most valued advisor, helping to reduce fear of the future and navigate a complex and fast-paced world. We want to help our members to seize new opportunities and to help their communities. We place high value on relationships, excellence, integrity, and responsibility. These values are what enable NCSF to achieve our vision. We look forward to you browsing our new website at the end of July, visiting us on social media, but most important of all we thank you for placing your trust in us. We look forward to you browsing our new website at the end of July ... it will have blogs, podcasts, videos, and the social media threads of Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
