Application Stationary gas engines are running at higher pressures to deliver greater efficiency and to reduce emissions. is higher Brake Mean Effective Pressure (BMEP) means higher engine temperatures—causing faster oil degradation. Shortened oil drain intervals can lead to an increased risk in engine component failure. Castrol Duratec LD is formulated with modern gas engine additives and high-quality base oils to delay oil degradationand to extend oil drain intervals.
