The CARB-approved and EPA SmartWay-verified device is designed for quiet operation to allow for a restful night's sleep and to provide full diagnostics with a PC interface and high heat output in a compact design. The Air Top 2000 ST has a maximum heat output of 7,000 Btu/h and is available in 12- and 24-volt diesel or gasoline models. Webasto's Air Top Evo 40 vehicle heater incorpo- rates an automatic cold-start system engineered to pro- vide more heating power to cabins and cargo spaces and is built to be quieter and have lower power con- sumption due to modern controls and an updated fuel pump design, making it suited for continuous heating. The Air Top Evo 40 has a maximum heat output of 13,650 Btu/h and is available in 12- and 24-volt diesel or gasoline models. Both units are designed for quick, easy installation as both a first-fit or retrofit solution. The self- sealed units elimi- nate refrigerant lines and require only external elec- trical power. All models use onboard generators and shorepower, and the under-bunk unit and the smaller-capacity back-wall units can be powered by four or six absorbed glass mat batteries; weights range from 80 to 140 pounds. Two back-wall models range from 9,400 to 13,000 Btu/h of air conditioning and 8,000 Btu/h of heat. Two rooftop models have cool- ing capacities of 13,500 and 15,000 Btu/h and an integrated 5,600-Btu heater. The under-bunk model provides 14,000 Btu/h of air conditioning and 8,000 Btu/h of heat. Enviro-Fleet, Enviro-Fleet.com Eberspaecher's Airtronic bunk heaters Eberspaecher's Airtronic D2 bunk heater system is engineered to run for about 21 to 23 hours on a gallon of diesel fuel and to cycle through four heat levels to maintain the level set by the operator. The high heat mode is designed for rapid cab heating, while the low heat mode is suited for a quiet, comfortable sleeping environment. The D2's compact size helps facilitate easy and simple installation in the tool or luggage compartment in most sleeper cabs. The company's Airtronic D4 unit is suited for bigger walk-in sleepers. The Digi-Max D1000 controller works with both the D2 and D4 bunk heaters and includes a constant heater status display, a temperature set point with Fahrenheit and Celsius options, a runtime count-down clock, fault code messages, a programmable low-voltage shutoff, a maximum run time limiter and customized schedule alerts.
