7 Industry Focus The Timken Company introduces the Timken Tech Series, an easy and free technical training service to help educate their distribution channel and end user customers. Created by certifi ed technicians and Timken engineers, Timken says the Tech Series focuses on light and commercial vehicle product training. Commercial vehicle courses cover tapered bearings, seals, lubricants and driveline center sup- port bearings. "The demand for ATRO polyurethane parts that outperform traditional OE rubber parts in heavy-duty vehicles is rapidly growing. As the industry leader, this important expansion increases ATRO's ability to respond to that de- mand with speed and effi ciency," says Mark Sturmon, president and owner of ATRO Engineered Systems. "The ad- ditional space at our headquarters plus our new east coast distribution center increase both our production capacity and our distribution capabilities." New Training Program From Timken Additives Company Purchases Supplemental Brands Bar's Products has purchased Hy-Per Lube Corporation. With the acquisition, Bar's adds the proven Hy-Per Lube brand of high- performance additives to its already impressive family of brands. Hy-Per Lube products complement the extensive Rislone automotive per- formance chemical catalog and the Bar's Leaks stop-leak product line.
