The truck is powered by a 425-hp B Model Cat, an Eaton-Fuller 13-speed and 3:55 rears. Rice did a complete teardown of the original 265-inch wheelbase, started with new frame rails and stretched the truck to 289 inches. Also new are the paint job, transmission and air, coolant and fuel lines. Classic yellow Pete Mike Franzoy uses his 1992 Peterbilt 379 and 1999 Wilson 48x102 trailer to haul farm products in and around Deming, New Mexico. The truck is powered by a 450- hp Detroit Series 60, an Eaton Fuller 13-speed and 3:55 rears. Franzoy bought the truck new in 1991 and has stretched the frame to 318 inches and added a Peterbilt low-air-leaf suspension, a rear window, 359 headlights, a 20-inch box-end front bumper, 8-inch stacks, shaved cab lights, a painted gangster-style drop visor and a custom rear drop visor. He also bought the trailer new.
