Other options include Penguin Egg Hunt, a gecoaching event, frozen footgolf, ice hockey expo and indoor ice skating. "Game-Set-Match!" turns the library's Children's Program Room into a stadium celebrating the upcoming Winter Olympics. New this year is "Just Plane Games" at Crites Field, where activities range from a coffee talk to free airplane rides for kids as well as instructor-led flight simulator lessons, museum tours, drone education and more. In addition to seeing the results of pros turning 300-pound blocks of ice into artworks for the ice- sculpting contest, kids can try it out for themselves during the children's ice sculpting demonstration. On Sunday, the "Dinosaurs Alive" shows at the Retzer Nature Center's Charles Horwitz Planetarium explore the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs. An ice fishing clinic, hikes at the nature center, horse-drawn wagon rides and an Alaska Malamute dog pull event are all part of the fun. All three days, the Arctic Avalanche toboggan run–a 350 ft. lighted toboggan run–is available (with free toboggans). Full schedule of events at JanBoree.org. JanBore Beer Garden, Lowell Park. welcomes those 21-years and older with a heated tent and Raised Grain Brewery beer on tap. Both days feature music, and on Saturday, trivia contests and games are planned. Friday, 5-9pm Saturday 3-9pm. Retzer Nature Center's Winter Beer Garden, Retzer Nature Center. Join Delafield Brewhaus on the patio, while taking in Retzer Nature Center's winter beauty. Keep warm by the campfire and enjoy self-guided hikes on foot or with the use of FREE snowshoes (weather permitting). Sunday, 3-7pm. BEER G A R D E N S
