National Catholic Forester 2 gOd revealing his Love Hopefully, the Advent/Christmas seasons have given all of us much to savor during the long weeks of winter ahead. Perhaps we can look back at some of the moments, the gathering of family and friends, the sharing of gifts, gathering around the dinner table, the looks in people's faces, being delighted with trees, lights, music, smells, and laughter. Whatever your experience has been, step back and spend some time savoring some of those cherished moments. How was God revealing his love to you and reaching out to you? What situation or experience spoke most deeply to you? At Christmas we celebrate the incredible – God becoming one with us. It's no longer the baby in Bethlehem, but our life and the lives of everyone around us. God lives within us, desires union with us, and invites us to share union with all God's children. What is it like to feel the presence of God within you? This is the gift that we can never fully unwrap. FATHER CuRTIS A.
