Building an outstanding customer experience for our members starts with a commitment to the Society's vision and culture. In 2018, we pledge to get everyone moving toward a common goal of service excellence. One of our business goals is to deepen our relationships with our members (our customers), and our agent work force. Customer expectations are always increasing, and are being driven by other industries. An example of a service expectation is that consumers today want instant availability of information. Therefore, NCSF is currently developing an online member portal that will allow members to review monthly billing statements, make payments, as well as complete address or beneficiary changes. We hope to make this portal available to our members sometime in 2018. For our agent work force, we are preparing to roll out an online life and annuity application that allows for faster processing, and an underwriting turnaround time of 48 hours or less. We are partnered with a new policy administration team and actuarial team, who continue to work very hard to bring new products to our members in 2018. Digitizing our member and agent experience comes with great dedication and passion from our staff. The Board of Directors will also help us endeavor to continue to build and deliver an excellent customer experience. On the fraternal side, the Society is transforming to a more simplified court system to help provide all our members the ability to better engage with the Society, participate in member benefits, and help provide for their community's needs. Another exciting change in 2018 is moving from a Quadrennial Convention to a Member Assembly in July of 2018. We are very thankful that the Board has been dedicated to the transformation of the Society over the last three years, by investing in our governance, infrastructure and the development of new products. There is a new and exciting year ahead in 2018, and we are all committed to the continued transformation of our business and Society.
