I am proud to announce today the opening of a new LMT sponsored
manufacturing and assembly facility called We Make - Autism at Work. We
Make is a first-of-its-kind facility, employing only autistic individuals, which
has been designed to manufacture, package and label products you currently
purchase from us. Here at LMT, we judge the character of a company by the
character of its' management team. LMT does not believe in forcing a customer
to buy our injection molded accessories through tying arrangements. We
want you to purchase our products based upon 3 simple criteria: outstanding
quality, competitive pricing, and the integrity of our principals and their goal
of giving back to the community. We want our customers to feel good about
themselves knowing they purchased a high quality product that was made or
packaged by individuals on the autistic spectrum.
We have created a non-for-profit company called We Make - Autism At Work,
Inc., to employ Autistic Adults, and are trademarking and branding the name
We Make, and the We Make symbol, so you can easily spot those products on
the shelves of wholesalers and retailers. Our goal is for all consumers to not
only see labels with "Made in China", "Made in India", or some other offshore
country, but also see the brand "We Make" and personally know the product
they choose is packaged or assembled by autistic individuals here in the USA.
