GOOD STUFF A selection of the latest products and services for tree fruit and grape growers. World's best juice T abletree Juice of Cre- ston, British Colum- bia, Canada, won the "Best Pure Juice Product 2012" award for their Tabletree black cherry juice at the World Juice Conference in Barcelona, Spain, in October. The conference is organized by the industry publication Food News to allow large- scale growers, producers, processors, suppliers, and transport companies from around the world to discuss topics relating to juice, according to a press release. While in Europe, Tabletree owners Susan and Gary Snow met with a researcher in France to discuss tests being done on Tabletree juice and its byproducts to assess its role in inhibiting and stopping inflammation. The couple hopes that results of the tests will be published. When they began making juice about five years ago, the Snows developed a proprietary process and machine. They won a B.C. Innovation Council award, which helped boost their new product. Though they still sell fresh cher- ries, the juice is becoming their main product. They are looking to expand both domestically and globally. Another Canadian product, Van Dyk's Wild Blueberry Juice from Nova Scotia, won a World Juice Award in 2005.
