The Bylaws of our Society were changed in
2017 to allow all beneficial members the right to
vote for the Board of Directors (Board). A beneficial
member is an individual age 16 or older who is the insured
or annuitant on an insurance or annuity certificate issued by
NCSF. That means that you as a member now have the right to vote.
There are eight (8) open positions on the Board, and you have the right to
vote for all eight (8). The eight (8) Directors are elected to serve on the Board
for the next four years. The Board is responsible for establishing policies, setting
goals and monitoring the progress of the Society.
The thirteen (13) candidates that appear on the ballot mailed to your home submitted their
nominations to the NCSF Nominating Committee. All eligible nominees appear on the ballot.
Please review the candidate biographies mailed to you. Consider
their qualifications and skills and how they can contribute to the
success of the Society.
Your ballot must be received by April 30, 2018 at 12:59 p.m. for your vote to be counted.
Your vote matters. You have a say in how the Society is run.
