Over the past seven years, the Regions Tradi- tion has stood as one of the most prestigious tournaments on the annual PGA Tour Champions calendar, producing winners such as Tom Lehman (twice), David Frost, Kenny Perry and Jeff Maggert, all at Shoal Creek, and this major always attracts a very strong field, who will all be gunning for two-time defending champion, over the Founders Course at Greystone Golf & Country Club, Bernhard Langer, the ageless one! This year's Regions Tradition starts TODAY, with huge crowds expected as always. Newcomers to the Regions Tradition include Steve Flesch, Jerry Kelly, Bob Estes, Tommy Tolles, Len Mattiace, David McKenzie, Fran Quinn and Tim Petrovic. Big names at Greystone include all the former champions and others noted above, along with John Daly, Colin Montgomerie, Steve Stricker, Vijay Singh, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Jose Maria Olazabal, David Toms, Ian Woosnam, Fred Funk, Scott Mc- Carron, Rocco Mediate, Tom Kite, Sandy Lyle, Mark O'Meara and Corey Pavin, plus many, many more.
