Regions Tradition through 2023. The current agree- ment ran through this year, with this announce- ment adding an additional five years for one of the Tour's five major championships. Greystone Golf & Country Club will also remain as host through the 2023 event. "Regions' commitment to the tournament con- tinues more than one Tradition," Scott Peters, head of Regions Consumer Banking, said in 2017. "It helps ensures that both a PGA Tour Champions major championship and a more than 25-year legacy of support for local charities and businesses are sustained in the Birmingham area for many years to come. Regions is proud to work with the PGA Tour and present this exceptional event in the community." Since 2011, Regions has been title sponsor of the Tradition, a major championship introduced in 1989. Prior to sponsoring the Tradition, Regions and the PGA Tour Champions presented the Re- gions Charity Classic from 2006-2010. The Founders Course at Greystone Golf & Coun- try Club previously hosted the Bruno's Memorial Classic from 1992 through 2005. The course, origi- nally designed by Bob Cupp and Birmingham na- tive Hubert Green, underwent significant renova- tions in 2015 in advance of hosting the 2016 event. The Watering Hole The Watering Hole is new this year and it is the tournament's homage to the famous and raucous 16th hole at the PGA Tour's Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale. The Watering Hole is the place to be for great golf viewing, a lively atmosphere, and a variety of food and beverage options! Centrally located and open to the public, The Watering Hole includes Tito's Terrace, Michelob Ultra Club and William Hill Estate Wine Lounge, all on the 10th hole. With venues just feet from the ac- tion, the roars from the gallery will come early and often. At Tito's Terrace, grab a delicious specialty cock- tail and hang out with friends. The Michelob Ultra Club is a family-friendly area with full concessions provided by Full Moon BBQ, and is the perfect loca- tion to cool off with a cold beer. The William Hill Es- tate Wine Lounge provides a relaxed environment to kick back and watch golf up close and personal, while sipping some great wines.
