AGGREGATES MANAGER July 2014 10 Durable tread design Yokohama Tire Corp. offers two new off-the-road tires, the RL45 and RL51. The tires feature new treads that are said to be more durable and longer lasting. The RL45 is made for articulated dump trucks and scrapers. Available in size 26.5R25, it boasts an advanced tread composition to provide improved wear, low-heat generation, and cut resistance, while the zigzag-shaped groove provides better traction on rock and gravel surfaces. The RL51 is designed for front-end loaders and graders. Available in size 23.5R25, a high-tech tread compound provides better wear and cut resistance. Both tires feature a non- directional block pattern. Designed for two million load cycles, the cylinders allow machine manufacturers to calculate the cylinder's lifecycle for each application and determine the price/performance ratio with transpar- ency. The cylinder is available in four different mounting styles and stroke lengths up to 3,000 mm. Bosch Rexroth | www.boschrexroth.com Eliminates the need for settling ponds McLanahan introduces an updated version of its filter press line, designed to make operations more efficient, while eliminating the need for settling ponds. Filter press operation has been streamlined with fewer moving parts and a single hydraulic filter. The system also eliminates the need for a full- time operator. McLanahan Corp. | www.mclanahan.com Bucket increases dumping height Paladin Attachments introduces the new JRB roll-out bucket for wheel loaders. The bucket is said to improve the dumping height of any loader, making it easier to clear 13-foot, 6-inch haul trailers, while increasing the productivity of single-side filling operations. It uses twin, dual-cushioned cylinders to top the bucket to its edge, in- creasing the working dump height of the bucket. Available in sizes that range from 4- to 7- cubic-yard capacities in half-yard increments, the roll-out bucket is available in either quick-coupler or pin-on attachment styles and includes the jumper hoses.
