Rick now offers this extensive putting app at a cost of $5.99. This app is just one of many that the KnowaProNow learning company are looking to bring out. The application is divided into 5 sections: - Introduction - My Best Lessons - Quick Tips - Favorite Drills - 19th Hole In the ‘My Best Lessons’ section Rick covers the 3 key areas from the basics. Beginning with ‘Putting Set Up’, he encourages you to keep an open mind about technique and encourages golfers to stay fresh with their putting. Rick also covers ‘Lag Putting’ and ‘Short Putting’ with some great keys for these different distances. The ‘Quick Tips’ covers the 3 keys areas in short form with some handy written tips. In the ‘Favorite Drills’ section Rick covers 5 keys areas he feels are going to improve your putting game. These include: - Cross Roads – Understanding the correct arc of the stroke - Right Angle – Understanding how the arms and shoulders work together - Train Both Sides – Left hand only and right hand only putting - Solid Stroke – Understanding correct set-up fundamentals - 50-40-30 – Understanding distance control and ways to practice this The last section titled ‘19th Hole’ offers some written information about the app and about Rick Smith and his career highlights. Overall this app offers a sound understanding of putting technique and some drills which will help many. A negative with this app is that some of the instruction is repeated in the different sections.
