CUSTOM RIGS PRIDE & POLISH 66 | Overdrive | August 2014 A ustin Ashley and his 2007 Peterbilt 379 continued their winning ways July 18-19 at the Fitzgerald Truck Show Pride & Polish, earning both Best of Show in the Limited-Mileage Bobtail category and the People's Choice award. Perennial Pride & Polish competitor Mike Manuel won Best of Show in the Limited-Mileage Combo category with his 1984 Peterbilt 359 and Benson fl atbed. Father and son duo Ron and Dan Brubaker won top honors in the two working truck categories. All four trucks now are qualifi ed to compete at the Overdrive's Pride & Polish National Championship National Championship By James Jaillet Ashley's 'Double Take' Pete, father-son duo earn top billing at Fitzgerald Pride & Polish Jeremy Robinson of Cartersville, Ga., won 2nd Place in the Combo, 2006 & Newer category with his 2013 Kenworth W900L and 2014 Timpte trailer. Brian Davis of Davis Bros. Trucking won 1st Place in the Builders Class, Combo category. The 2005 Peterbilt 379 and matching 2012 Wilson trailer also won Best of Show last year at the Great American Trucking Show, qualifying it to compete in this year's Pride & Polish National Championship judging round. Austin Ashley's 2007 Peterbilt 379 won Best of Show in the Limited-Mileage Bobtail category. Ashley is the reigning Overdrive's Pride & Polish Trucker's Choice National Champion.
