Due to its high reduction ratio, the unit can often eliminate the need for multiple secondary or tertiary units in plants where they are present. The APSH model includes a hydraulic apron adjustment to ensure continuous production of high-quality, consistent product gradation. The computer-controlled, fully automatic hydraulic system is said to reduce the downtime normally associated with apron adjustments to minutes.
