PUTTING INTO THE FUTURE! BY STEVEN GIULIANO
This month sees an "exclusive" instruction article on one of the most seemingly uninteresting and under-practiced areas of the game, Green Reading. I will apply a 21st Century spin on how green reading can be analyzed and explained, and how the iPhone can now be used as a useful tool for gaining an accurate understanding on exactly where to aim when putting.
Let's begin by singling out some of the greatest putters in golf history. There is Bobby Lock, Ben Crenshaw and Jack Nicklaus, to name just three. Modern day greats include Brad Faxon, Aaron Baddeley and Tiger Woods.
What is especially striking about all of these golfers is that each has his own inimitable style and technique. It's not a case of "one set way" working for all. It therefore makes it impossible to distinguish a technique and style that would work for everyone. If it were that straightforward, then we'd all be able
