About Thompson Tees Off
I've been around golf my whole life, having played this great game for 40 years. For almost the last 20 years I've written about it for GolfSouth Magazine and the Birmingham News. Suffice to say, golf and writing about golf are in my blood.
It is from this background of writing over 1000 golf columns for the Birmingham News and producing over 100 issues of GolfSouth Magazine, that Thompson Tees Off "Alabama's Golf Insider" was born.
I want Thompson Tees Off to be THE source for citywide and statewide golf. I have the con- tacts, I have the stories, I know the players and the courses. I have my finger on the pulse of area golf and want to share that knowledge with you on a weekly basis.
