Holidays continue
at Pabst Mansion
THE CAPTAIN Frederick Pabst Mansion, 2000 W. Wisconsin
Ave., presents A Grand Avenue Christmas through Jan. 13.
More than a dozen of the mansions rooms have been elegantly
transformed in keeping with the mansions Victorian heritage.
Items of special interest this year include the beer mug and
pretzel tree in Captain Pabst's study. And, inspired by a 1915
historic photograph, don't miss the 12 foot high, blue ribbon
tree rising up through the grand stairs.
Visitors may choose the $13 Holiday Season Pass to the Pabst
Mansion, Charles Allis Art Museum, 1801 Prospect Ave., and
Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, 2220 N. Terrace Ave. The
pass may be used through Jan. 13. The Charles Allis and Villa
Terrace Decorative Arts museums are open 1-5 p.m., Wednesday
through Sunday. (Tickets available at all three locations.)
