26 ��� JANUARY 2013 ��� WORLD FENCE NEWS Encon Electronics to host Certified Automated Gate Operator Installer exam in January On Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 Encon Electronics will offer gate operator installers the opportunity to become certified. All dealers with at least two years of field experience installing and servicing gate operators may take the exam and earn Certified Automated Gate Operator Installer (CAGOI) sta- tus upon successful completion. An individual who does not yet have two years of field experience may still apply for the certification program and take the exam. The final certification will be issued when the two years experience criteria has been met. Anyone interested in taking the certification test must register through the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA) at www.dooreducation.com. The exam offered on January 19 will take place at Encon���s training facility at 28310 Industrial Blvd., Suite G, in Hayward, California from 9-11 a.m. PST. Todd Knox of IDEA will be on hand to administer the exam. For additional support, Encon will be conducting a free half-day study session the weekend prior to the exam. The review session will be presented by Encon���s training director, Tim Nordstrom. Anyone interested in attending the review must already be registered to take the exam on January 19. You do not need to be an Encon dealer to attend the study session or the CAGOI exam.
