Sports & Events BISMARCK-MANDAN MEETING AND EVENT PLANNER'S GUIDE Soccer Fields Over 40 fields within 15 minutes of each other. The Cottonwood Soccer Complex has 12 fields in one location. All fields are capable of multiple sizes and configurations to accommodate grade school through college levels. We also have an indoor soccer arena at the Fore Seasons Center where three games can be going on at the same time. Starion Sports Complex The Starion Sports Complex features two sheets of ice, a gymnastic facility, turf football field that is NCAA certified, eight lane track along with field space for pole vault, long jump and throwing events. Starion Sports Complex boasts a 84,000 square foot building, more than 450 paved parking spaces, 8 locker rooms, a dryland skate training room, dual use concessions, press box, office space and a Mandan Park skate rental location. The football stadium has 2,200 seats, the hockey arena has seating for 1,000. VFW Sports Center The VFW Sports Center features two separate ice rinks for hockey, figure skating, and public skating. The adjoining curling rink hosted the first ever World Senior Curling Championships. The main arena seats 1,300, and the second rink seats 300.
