AirBurst is a patented
process that utilizes the
patented Bolt Technology
Air Gun to stimulate
selected water-producing
zones within a water well
by creating beneficial vibrations and surg-
ing actions.
A small volume of air/inert gas is
stored within the air gun and when explo-
sively released generates a seismic shock
wave and creates high velocity movement
of the water surrounding the air gun.
This energy release results in removal of
encrusted scales, biomass, and sedimen-
tation from the wellbore, screen, and geo-
logical formations.
AirBurst energy is infinitely adjustable
without removing the air gun from the
well. Multiple bursts, several seconds
apart, will develop every inch of the well

Reed's New Shut-Off Tool Design Allows Operator Choices
Shut off and reshape Type K service line ¾-inch
to 2-inch copper tube with Reed Mfg. Co.'s copper
shut-off tools that swing open to go handily around
the pipe. Fine threads on the feed screw provide
smooth, easy tightening.
The support handle can be positioned in two
different spots, depending on clearance spots. The
bottom section opens to reround the copper tube
after the repair to allow 70% or more return of
flow.
All parts are corrosion protected for long service life. Proper and regular use of
grease fittings for lubrication maintenance yields long tool life and easy operation.
