SPI Group, owner of Stolichnaya Premium vodka, has appointed of John Esposito as President of its U.S. operations. This follows the decision taken by SPI to establish its own importing company in the U.S. and manage its portfolio of brands directly, beginning January 1, 2014. Esposito was most recently President and CEO of Bacardi North America���.John McDonnell was named President ��� International, at Patron Spirits Co. Effective June 30, 2013, William Grant & Sons will no longer represent Bols Liqueurs in the U.S. They will be handled directly by the Lucas Bols USA company. Sidney Frank Importing Company appointed Mike Glennon as Vice President of National Off Premise Chain Sales. Pernod Ricard USA has launched Pro Bev Source, an online destination designed to help distributors, retailers and on-premise operators find the information they need in an efficient way. The comprehensive resource is accessible via the newly redesigned website. Pro Bev Source includes Pernod Ricard USA brand and product information, image assets, sales and promotional materials and a link to the Pernod Ricard Drinks Database, which provides easy access to more than one thousand drink recipes and photos. The Drinks Database includes recipes by brand/ product, drink type, occasion and preparation difficulty, as well as channel relevant drink recommendations. Pro Bev Source also acts as a resource for staff training by providing access to the BarSmarts Program. Other features of the site include business tools such as profit calculators, videos, and soon, information on category management.
