Alexandra Walsh in "Machine Shop Safety", page 46 For steel-cased wells, welding plays a vital part of the integrity of the well. It's as essential to the well integrity as grouting. Gary Shawver, MGWC in "Welding: A Skill Every Driller Needs", page 42 PUNCH LIST The December issue of Water Well Journal will focus on the state of the industry and looking ahead. Merritt Partridge, CVCLD in "A Young Man's Game", page 39 waterwelljournal.com 76 n November 2019 WWJ To correctly develop a groundwater resource a well must first be properly sited and constructed. Failure to achieve one of these initial steps poses serious risk to the likelihood of providing acceptable quantity and quality of the resource moving forward. Eric Duderstadt and Michael Schnieders, PG, PH-GW in "Sustainability and Sound Well Design", page 24 If you don't know the answer, be honest and tell the customer, but then find it, and follow up with them. Giving false information will be discovered and you'll lose your most important value—your integrity. Brian Snelton, PG in "WWJ Closeup", page 12 While most of our attention will be focused on providing high-quality product solutions to support our customers, we know that the groundwater industry is rapidly changing and we need to be on top of this transformation as well. William (Bill) MacDonald in "Newsmakers", page 58
