Milwaukee is Open
and It Needs You
In a normal year, September in Milwaukee
means restaurants packed with locals, tourists,
and convention attendees and the annual
economic boost that goes hand-in-hand with
Milwaukee's sublime September weather. Of
course, this year is anything but normal.
The economic effects of the pandemic have
been exceptionally severe for independently
owned businesses, especially restaurants in
our downtown neighborhoods, which would
normally be filled with employees at work. But
VISIT Milwaukee is proud to share that these
businesses have adapted and implemented
dozens of measures to keep all of us safe.
From wearing a mask in public to
committing to keep your dollars in Milwaukee,
recovering from this pandemic will require a
concentrated, collective effort. We at VISIT
Milwaukee and KEY Milwaukee are calling
on you to show your support for Milwaukee's
incredible hospitality community.
Here are three ways to support our
community:
• Order takeout from a restaurant.
• Patronize a business that has safely
re-opened.
•
Stay committed to shopping local and
investing in our city.
It is only together that we can ensure
Milwaukee thrives.
