The Milwaukee Power
Milwaukee visitors and residents will have the chance
to be in the stands in October when the Milwaukee
Power begins its hockey season at the Wilson Park rink,
4001 S. 20th St.
A member of the 32-team North American
Tier III Hockey League (NA3HL), The Power is a
developmental program for players between high
school and college. Plans call for spectators throughout
the season, making sure all Milwaukee County health
regulations are observed, according to Kris Marion,
sales and marketing manager for the team and its
ownership group, Local Hockey Partners, LLC.
Now in its third season, The Power is the only
NA3HL team in Metro Milwaukee. Other teams in its
division are in Wausau and Oregon, south of Madison;
Peoria, Illinois; St. Louis, Missouri, and Rochester,
Minnesota.
The home-opener opponent Oct. 3 will be the new
Oregon team. Other October home games are Oct. 23
& 24 against Wausau and Oct. 30 against Rochester.
Visit mkepower.com for additional details on the
season and to purchase tickets.
