New USFS Field Guide for Tracking Long-term Tree Survival, Growth, and Health The Forest Service has released several new products that offer guidance on how to track the long-term health of trees in your commu- nity. Using this guidance will help inform tree maintenance and management programs and support the research community in studying trends in tree growth and mortality at the local and national levels. You can find the field guide, how-to videos, and other resources here. New Cross-Pollinator Publication from USFS The Cross-Pollinator is a science synthesis publication produced quarterly in coop- eration between the Northern Research Station, the Urban Field Station Network, State and Private Forestry, and the Urban Forest Technology and Science Delivery Team. It spotlights transdisciplinary collabo- rations among researchers and practitioners that "cross" forest research with urban and community forests at a landscape scale.
