Party Wall by CODA
The Museum of Arts and Design is celebrating the 50th anniversary of
the American Studio Glass movement by presenting "Playing with Fire: 50
Years of Contemporary Glass." This inclusive look at the breadth of innovative
processes and artistry features more than 100 works in glass curated by
Jennifer Scanlan. Through August 25. madmuseum.org
In late June a large steel, wood and fabric
wall will tower above MoMA PS1's
courtyard. The Transformer-like structure
is the winning entry of the annual Young
Architects Program, designed by New
York-based CODA. Party Wall will shade
party-goers as they crowd the courtyard
during the museum's annual Warm Up
music series this summer. CO-DA.EU
