In place of a warming house and motor coach tour, guests will experience this year's lighting displays through a virtual or self-guided audio tour. Santa's Mailbox presented by Serving Older Adults and Educators Credit Union continues through Dec. 13. Boys and girls who drop their letters into Santa's Mailbox receive a personalized reply in the mail, provided they include a return address. No postage is required. New attractions for motorists and pedestrians include window displays designed by Retailworks Inc. Featuring the likenesses of 25+ well-known Milwaukeeans, the four decorated storefronts are at 324 E. Wisconsin Ave., 205 E. Wisconsin Ave., 400 E. Wisconsin Ave. and 733-737 N. Milwaukee St. About Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21 Milwaukee Downtown, Business Improvement District #21, is an organization established in 1998 to support the interests of the Downtown Milwaukee business community. Created through private sector leadership, Milwaukee Downtown is a management district organization that oversees 150 square blocks representing approximately 500 property owners in the center of Downtown Milwaukee. Another new highlight of the fest are grab-and-go treat boxes curated by Milwaukee Food & City Tours. In a partnership with Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21, Milwaukee Food & City Tours offers Jingle Joy Boxes for purchase in a socially- distanced drive-through at Zeidler Union Square. The boxes, which contain goodies from local businesses, can be reserved online or purchased on-site for $15. Only available at the Zeidler drive- through, they can be picked up from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 3-19. Contents include 1/2 lb. of Peter Sciortino's Bakery assorted Italian cookies (no nuts) and candy canes, two winter glow sticks for a stroll around Holiday Lights displays, and a Santa letter writing kit for two. (Letters can be dropped off at Cathedral Square through Dec. 13.) As a bonus, every 25th Jingle Joy Box contains a $50 downtown gift card.
