utdoors has always been the place to be during
Milwaukee's beautiful summer weather. But
when downtown comes alive with new murals,
temporary art installations and street performances, there's
even more to enjoy.
The myriad of visual and performing arts include "Tatay's
Truck," a mobile mural by Emma Daisy Gertel. Milwaukee

21 partnered with Meat on the Street to
commission local artist Emma Daisy Gertel for an original
design and rebrand as Tatay's Truck. "Tatay" means father in
Tagalog, and the new food truck design features symbols
of Filipino culture.
Adding to the excitement is the
"Massimals MKE: Rainbow." In
celebration of Pride Month, Cathedral
Square Park transformed its popular
winter art installation, "Massimals MKE,"
with an all-new, colorful sequence that
continues through September.
Schlitz Park Mural Created by
Wisconsin-artist Greg Gossel, this is
downtown's largest mural to date. Painted
on the Schlitz Park Powerhouse and
