And instead of going on any more about that and wasting precious space patting ourselves on the back, we instead take the time to present in this issue STIR's 10th Anniversary Ex- ecutive Forum. Here we present input from wide range of industry leaders and insiders in the coffee and tea industry – from products manufacturers to suppliers of equipment, machinery, and services – on what's happened in the last 10 years, the lasting effects of Covid on busi- ness, and what's in store for the next 10 years. Please enjoy the information presented here. With the last issue, STiR coffee and tea handed the editorial reigns back to the original founding editor who will oversee that position at least for the near term. You will be see- ing some improvements in editorial content, features, and design and we hope you will like changes. With the print edition and e-magazine edition we've tweaked a few departments and layouts and we've started a few new sections. And there's more to come. Markets, Machines, Messages, and Merch is where we will provide short notes on com- pany activities, new equipment, coffee and tea service, press releases – much of it informa- tion we think you should know but doesn't immediately warrant a full feature story or news item in STiR's regular industry-focused content. Category is… will highlight a segment of the industry – products, equipment, markets, or regions focusing on suppliers, research, or opportunities. "Category is….COLD BREW" in the first in this section and in following issues this section will be expanded. STiR welcomes Maja Wallengren as our origins editor and contributor writer on coffee…and not a moment too soon. Maja has been on the ground in Brazil filing reports on the worsen- ing situation there and what this means for the industry now and into the future. You have already seen some reports if you get our semi-monthly emailed newsletter (and if you don't, please go to www.stir-tea-coffee.com and look for the "Sign Up" box). We've known Maja for over 20 years as she is one of the most passionate, dedicated writers on coffee there is. Fingers crossed….but it seems exhibitions are back, and you can stop by and visit us at our booth at SCA New Orleans in September and then again at HOST Milano in October. As many of us that can get there will be there, God willing with Covid-19 all the ever-changing travel restrictions. These are tough times for everyone and last year saw the demise of as least two other trade magazines in our industry, so we are super appreciative of the support and vote of confi- dence we continue to get from our subscribers and advertisers. See you in New Orleans and Milan. Happy Birthday to STiR
