Welcome to Groundwater Week 2021 Attendees will have several options to learn and improve their skills as a groundwater professional, network and make contacts from around the country, and have fun. The following are just some of the opportunities in which you can do that. For complete information on all the educational opportunities, go to page 41. MGWC Luncheon Tuesday, December 14 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. The Master Groundwater Contractors Luncheon is an ideal way for MGWCs in NGWA's voluntary certification program to visit with old friends as well as greet the newest entrants into the ranks of the green jackets. (This is open only to MGWCs and their spouses. Ticket required. The per person cost is $50. Registration must be made by November 12 to allow time for accommodations.) Early/New Career Meet-Up Tuesday, December 14 2–3 p.m. Students and young professionals are invited to share their experiences on getting started in the groundwater indus- try with new friends and acquaintances. Long-time NGWA members will also be on hand to answer any questions on how young people can grow professionally and get ahead in their chosen field. Affiliate State Peer to Peer Meeting Tuesday, December 14 4–5 p.m. An annual meeting of Affiliate State executives and officers, this open forum is a great place to discuss issues facing your state and provides the opportunity to receive feedback from fellow associa- tion leaders on how they have managed similar situations. (Open to Affiliate State executives and officers.) NGWA Welcome Party Tuesday, December 14 5:30–7 p.m. Meet up with old friends and make new ones at this annual crowd-pleaser that takes place at the Grand Ballroom in the Music City Center. It's a great way to unwind after a full day of educa- tional offerings.
