Waukesha JanBoree, Jan. 14-23.
From lumberjack sports to
ice sculpting, toboggan rides,
a Malamute dog pull, a heated
beer garden, and nature hikes,
the JanBoree offers an ideal
cure for cold-weather cabin
fever. Enjoy more than 45
family-friendly activities, almost
all free of charge.
Visitors ages 21 and over can
imbibe craft beers from Raised
Grain Brewing Co. in comfort
and style at Lowell Park's heated
Flannel 'N' Foam Beer Garden,
5-9pm Jan. 14 and 3-9pm Jan. 16.
The JanBoree features several
canine-friendly activities for
owners and their pups:
Bark & Brew Beer Garden
at Minooka Park, 4-8pm Jan.
22, provides the perfect spot
for dogs and their owners to
congregate and sip a cold
beverage. The first 100 leashed
pups to arrive receive a free
bandanna. Take a Sunset/
Candlelight Hike with your
well-behaved, leashed canine
companion in the park.
From 11am-3pm Jan. 22 at
Picnic Area 3 in Minooka Park,
