About the cover: A new residential well is drilled on a
jobsite by a crew from Lovelace Well Drilling Inc. near Darlington,
Wisconsin. The well was 201 feet deep with 147 feet of casing.
The crew encountered broken formations that produced discolored
water early on, but after the casing was installed, the well pro-
duced 25 gallons per minute of clear water. Lovelace is located in
Argyle, Wisconsin, and works on jobs involving well drilling, pump
