BLACKFIN BOATS As part of a new strategic partnership, yacht brokerage firm Dwight Tracy & Friends and boat manufacturer Blackfin Boats Inc. have announced a new, expanded line of thoroughly modernized Blackfin sportfishing boats and yachts. The Blackfin line currently ranges from 27 to 34 feet, and will soon re-expand to include express sportfishing yachts 34 to 42 feet. Their latest release is the Blackfin 34 Open (pictured). Products & Services CENTEK GEN-SEP TRACERLINE OPTIMAX 365 Tracer Products has introduced the Tracerline Optimax 365 — a cordless, rechargeable pure UV leak-detection flashlight featuring state-of-the-art, ultra-high-flux LED technology. When used with the appropriate fluorescent dye, the UV lamp will locate leaks in fluid systems on marine vessels. The exact location of every leak is revealed by a bright yellow-green glow. Powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery, it provides 90 minutes of continuous inspection time between charges. DR. SHRINK DS-LIFTOFF Dr. Shrink's new DS-Liftoff easily separates shrink wrap from the product it's covering. Using strapping, buckles and a tensioning tool, the Liftoff offers simple protection by promoting air circulation on painted boat hulls and other equipment. The Liftoff prevents chafing and surface damage from shrink wrap moving against the product during storage and transportation. It is available in sleeves of 12 or cases of 100. The Gen-Sep from exhaust systems manufacturer Centek Industries is used in conjunction with a Centek Vernalift muffler on generator sets to separate cooling water from exhaust gasses and is an easy upgrade to any generator system—and the water drain can be located below the water line to eliminate water splash during overnight moorings. Available in a full range of sizes to accommodate the smallest to the largest generators, Gen-Sep is customizable to fit space available and routing requirements. AQUATIC AV DVD MEDIA CONTROL CENTER The Aquatic AV waterproof DVD Media Control Center has a host of features and functions to get the most out of a digital media and AV installation on board. A single DVD/CD mechanism allows multi-region DVD playback plus CD, MP3 and WMA audio discs. Play video content from an iPod or iPhone via the dedicated 30-pin iPod/iPhone cable.
