World of Coffee Athens takes place on June 22–24, 2023 at Athens Metropolitan Expo for three days of exhibitions, awards, and tastings for attendees, exhibitors, and volunteers. Each competitor represents their home country and brings with them a unique perspective and approach to performance and coffee craft. The World Coffee Championships are one of the most exciting events on the world specialty coffee calendar as four new world champions for each competition will be crowned live at the com- petition stages for all attendees to support and celebrate. World of Coffee Athens also features an extensive offering of educational opportunities, including hands-on workshops for advancing practical skills and knowledge, refining sensory acuity, tactics for business development, sourcing, and sustainability. World of Coffee will also host informative, live lectures by experienced industry professionals, academics, and trusted authorities on subjects including organic sciences, emerging technologies, management and marketing, human resources and staff management, company culture, sustainability, and climate change.
