the 18 greens. After our round, we stayed
onsite and enjoyed a delicious dinner and
drinks at "The View" restaurant surrounded
by cooling Pacific Ocean breezes and
beautiful spacious views while we dined
on a coconut shrimp appetizer, fresh fish
special and a delicious ribeye steak!
The next morning, we headed out for a
great workout at Kona's Planet Fitness
followed by a great breakfast of Kona
coffee and Mochi pancakes---a very
popular type of pancakes on the island
that are light and fluffy, made with
mochiko flour—a sweet rice flour that is
naturally gluten free. Following breakfast,
we headed to our hotel's private beach
area for the day where many were
sunbathing, snorkeling,and renting kayaks
and other water sports equipment. Our
beach area was perfect as it feeds into
the Pacific Ocean and overlooks King
Kamehameha's private look-out hut. After
several hours of great sun, we headed
back to our room to clean up for dinner.
