With one of the best pitching staffs in the National League, the Brewers kept opposing bats quiet in most early-season games. At our May deadline, the team was in first place in the NL's Central Division with one of the best records in professional baseball. Coached by Craig Counsell, a former major league player and native of Whitefish Bay, Wis., the Brewers often draw sell-out crowds, even in early weeks of the season when other teams play to empty seats. For tickets and up-to-date information on the Brewers, visit Brewers.com. American Family Field One Brewers Way, Miller Parkway (866) 800-1275 / brewers.com Bucks compete for NBA title Most American cities would be pleased if one of their professional sports teams made it to the championship playoffs. At the magazine's deadline, Milwaukee had three teams in the championship playoffs, led by the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks were in the first round of the National Basketball Association (NBA) playoffs after finishing the regular season with the best record in the NBA. Their chances of a championship, however, were clouded by an injury to their leading player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, in the first playoff game with the Miami Heat. Fiserv Forum, the Bucks' state-of-the-art home arena, is the place to be, whether the team is playing at home or on the road. Visit bucks.com for an update on the playoffs as the Bucks seek to win their second NBA championship in the last three years. Fiserv Forum 1111 Vel R. Phillips Ave. (414) 227-0500 • fiservforum.com
