NEW RE-SEALABLE CHOCOLATE PRODUCTS SUPPLIES AND SERVICES Ghirardelli recently unveiled its new line of baking, hot cocoa, candy making and dipping products, available in zip-up pouches. The hot cocoa comes in three flavors: Chocolate Caramel, Double Chocolate and Chocolate Mocha. Each is available in a 10.5 oz. pouch, which contains nine servings. The Double Chocolate is also available in 0.85 oz. on-the-go individual packets. The company's candy making and dipping wafers can be microwaved and re-heated. The wafers don't require tempering and are available in 12 oz. packages. The unsweetened ground cocoa is available in an 8 oz. packaging, while the sweet ground cocoa is available in 10.5 oz packs. The new packaging for all these products will roll out between now and September 2013, replacing all previous brand packaging. CANTERBURY COFFEE BIODEGRADABLE SINGLE SERVE The OneCoffee is a new organic single serve coffee made from 100 percent hard-bean, organic and fair-trade Arabica coffees. Available from Canterbury Coffee, the new single serves are compatible with K-cup and include blends like Breakfast Blend, French Roast, Decaf Dark, Columbian, Peruvian, Samatran and Ethiopian. ILLY ISSIMO EXPANSION Illy issimo products are now available in a variety of national chain retailers, 30 including Duane Reade, 7 Eleven, Target and Whole Foods-Market. The company's range of ready to drink coffee beverages include Caffe, Caffe No Sugar, Latte Macchiato, Cappuccino and Mochaccino. With a suggested retail price of $24.00 for a case of 12, all the products are prepared with a 100 percent Arabica blend with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. GIRL SCOUT FLAVORS ADDED TO COFFEE-MATE LINEUP Nestle recently announced the addition of Girl Scout flavors to its Coffee-mate line. The limited-edition Thin Mints and Caramel & Coconut flavors mirror the tastes from the cookies sold by the Girl Scouts of the USA, and are available in a 16 oz. bottle for a suggested retail price of $2.69. TASSIMO SWEET BLACK ICED TEA Sweet Black Iced Tea is the newest addition to the Tassimo Tea Bar line of products, joining the assortment of options for the single-serve brand. Tassimo's home brew system employs bar code technology to measure the time, temperature and amount of water to make each beverage. For iced tea, the tea is "heat extracted" to deliver the flavor when brewed over ice. The suggested retail price for the Sweet Black Iced Tea is $9.99 for a 16-count pack. MISS ELLIE'S SINGLE CUP BREWING Miss Ellie's gourmet coffee brand is now available in a singleserve cup, made for the new RealCup brewer and compatible with K-Cup coffee makers. Miss Ellie's is available in 24count boxes and comes in three varieties: Breakfast Blend (light roast), Donut Shop (medium-mild) and Dark Roast (full bodied). The RealCup system from Coffee.org is available online and through several coffee shops and convenience stores.
