Throughout the weekend,
merchants feature special sales,
live music and family activities.
The Shops of Cedar Creek
Settlement feature live music
on Saturday, with mulled wine
from the Cedar Creek Winery
and the Settlement boutique
shops welcoming browsers.
Don't miss the zany
Costumed Bed Races at
1:30pm, held at Mill Pond in
Boy Scout Park, in which the
winners receive cash prizes
for speed and best costumes,
followed by adult and kid
Barrel Races at 2pm.
Golfers are encouraged
to bundle up for the annual
Cedarburg Lions Iceberg Open.
Check-in begins at 9am at the
Cedarburg Cultural Center and
the tournament begins at 10am
at Cedar Creek Park. Free draft
beer will be available at the
Cedarburg American Legion
Post and the Rebellion Tavern.
Participants can enjoy a filling
Spaghetti Lunch at the Legion
post, and the Lions will give out
door and 50/50 raffle prizes.
Put on outrageous '80s
clothes, break out the AquaNet
hairspray and enjoy a night of
dancing, an '80s hosted game
show, swag bags, a free drink
ticket and an '80s DJ at the
Totally Tubular '80s Bash, 6:30-
10pm at the Cedarburg Cultural
Center. This event is 21 and over.

Another fun-filled festival day
begins with the Boy Scout Troop
830 Pancake Breakfast at the
Gym from 8:30-11am. Proceeds
from the delicious all-you-can-
eat breakfast benefit the troop,
and the breakfast includes
pancakes, two sausages, fruit,
butter, syrup, milk, coffee, water
and orange juice.
At 9am in the parking lot
of the Cedarburg Community
Center Gym is the Malamute
Dog Sled Pull, where spectators
watch these beautiful canines
pull heavy sleds.
Youngsters and their families
can participate in various kids'
activities and the Penguin
Egg Hunt, and foodies can
sample tasty broths during the
Restaurant Soup Contest.
Beautifully preserved
19th century architecture
makes Cedarburg a popular
destination. The entire
downtown was named to the
National Register of Historic
Places in the mid-1980s. Stone
buildings, picturesque churches
and Victorian homes create
a delightful spot for strolling,
shopping and dining.
