STiR coffee and tea 21 use of glue or traditional heat sealing. The maximum speed of the packaging machine is 120 bags/min. The available options include feeding two differ- ent products into one bag. Miflex-Masz offers a complete packaging line for pyramid tea bags which also includes envelopes or cartoning units from pre-glued boxes to flat blanks. The most extensive packaging line may include three packaging machines working with one cartoning unit. Additionally, the complete line can be equipped with a checkweigher for packed cardboard boxes, a metal detector a batch number printer and over cellophane wrapping machine. Another variant offered by Miflex-Masz is a packaging line for pyramid bags (e.g. 20 pcs.) packed into metal or paper tins. Our offer is complemented by the tagging machine UPZ-100 which attaches the tag and string to the mesh material. Single-chamber, naked rectangular or square bags ASK is intended for making and packing single-chamber, naked rectangular or square bags without tag and string. One part of the ASK line is a machine which can pack tea, herbs, or blends into double (with perforation) rectan- gular bags, stacking the bags e.g. 5 x 2 bags each. After that stacked bags are inserted into pre-glued boxes made from flat blanks. Finally boxes are closed and sealed. Optional stacked bags can be foil overwrapped by a flowpack unit before inserting into boxes. A very important available function is the continuous analysis of the weight trend of the packaged product. This allows for automatic, precise feeding regulation of packaged tea or herbs. The maximum capacity of the line is 800 bags/min. (up to 40 cardboard boxes/min.). There are various cardboard boxes available: standard, easy-open, click-clack. ASK is available as a complete packaging line with checkweigher for packed cardboard boxes, metal detector, batch number printer, but we can offer just the packaging machine too. Long bags (tea-jack) Long bags are becoming more and more popular and are used for brewing tea or herbs in large mugs or teapots. Our offer includes a packaging line for long bags with paper labels and packed into foil using a flowpack unit. The multihead weighing system with precision load cell technologies ensures precise feeding of blended tea and herbs. Bags can be done with a fold from different kinds of filter paper. The maxi- mum capacity of that line is 90 bags /min. Round and shaped bags Round bags are still popular in various countries around the world. Miflex-Masz offers a complete automated packaging line where the final product is a stack of e.g. 25 round bags packed into metal or paper tins. It's possible to order the packaging machine with an envelope unit or just packaging machine for naked bags.
