GERMAN FEST
MILWAUKEE
THE LIVELY 3-DAY CELEBRATION OF BRATS, BEER, POLKA AND
CULTURE RETURNS TO HENRY MAIER FESTIVAL PARK JULY 26-28.
FOOD & DRINK
ARE ALWAYS A HIGH POINT
The festival once again
packs three days with live
music, traditional dance,
timbersports, sheepshead
battles, children's activities,
a Dachshund derby, history,
wine tasting and much more.
Live music includes
spirited performances
from German and Austrian
bands, including Die
Alpenkracher, Die Freistadt
Alte Kameraden Band,
Alpine Blast, Copper Box,
The Biermen, and more.
Watch musicians entertain
audiences at the Musikgarten,
located near the Culture
Village on the north end of
the festival grounds.
From soft pretzels to
goulasch, rollbraten
and sauerkraut to
frankfurters, and,
of course, delicious
tortes and kuchen
(cake), German Fest offers
a variety of culinary delights.
Quench your thirst
with a cold beer
from Lakefront
Brewery or a shot
of Jagermeister.
Partake in a wine-
tasting, sampling
imported Wein-Bauer wines.
